How do we know when enough is enough? When is it time to make a change? If not now, when? We all know the power of doubt, negativity, and procrastination. It’s a horribly persuasive voice that sits on our shoulders fueling our fears. We battle with this voice everyday. It tells us, “You’re not worthy.” ” You can love yourself next week.” “You’re not strong enough.” “You can maybe leave him if he hits you again.” “You’re too fat and poor to workout.” “You can live a better life when you retire in your 60’s.”
Yet, her success in improving her health and losing weight does not end there. Wendy went onto become an 8 time award winning National Champion of top trophy awards in the NPC Bodybuilding and Figure Championships as well as a Strive to Thrive Fitness Expert touring with Actors Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, the founders. At the age of 60, she set two Guinness Book of World Records. One was for oldest active instructor trainer that is certified and working in multiple disciplines and the other for performing 37 burpees in one minute. She also wrote a best selling book called, ” Take Back Your Life: My No Nonsense Approach to Health, Fitness and Looking Good Naked!”
